Tripping During 2009, it is intended that 'Alaska' will be running public trips from Bourne End Marina on the May and August Bank Holiday weekends (23rd, 24th, 25th May and 29th, 30th, 31st August) and at the Thames Traditional Boat Rally at Henley (18th and 19th July) Bourne End trips start at 11am and run on the hour until the last trip of the day at 5pm. Trips last approximately 50 minutes and cost £10 for adults and £6 for children and OAP's. Trips at the Thames Traditional Boat Rally are of similar price and duration (yet to be confirmed) but admission to the rally is also required (see link to TTBR web site on links page). Thames Steamers would like to thank all of the many hundreds of you that came on a trip during 2008 and hope to see you again in 2009 If you are organising a riverside event, 'Alaska' can provide a major attraction, running public trips for those attending.
